This was a great story to read. I hate that it's being discontinued. I was looking forward to reading how Severus' sister would react to having Harry staying the summer. Not to mention all of the replies to the letters sent out. Are you allowing anyone to adopt this story? Or are you eventually going to continue working on it later when you have time?

I know it isn't finished and won't ever be but this is a very entertaining fic and I come back to reread it every so often because it makes me smile.

i may not see Severus as gay, but this is such a well written story i don't really care. authentic sounding Snapisms, funny but with depth and compassion. i LOVE the idea of the kite; and how very James and Sirius to be such nasty pratts. i've written my own fan fiction for self and husband and have vaguely browsed others; but i must say this is the only one that i've found that really engaged me. thanks for making a day of sciatica better with something cool to read.

I like the warm milk idea (poor Harry) and the nice Wiggin xD and poor Severus and the idea of Snapes sister being a tad mad... thats what she sounded like in the letters...

This is a great story. I love what you've done with Snape and Harry, not to mention your magical innovations. I'm sorry to see it's abandoned, but I thoroughly enjoyed what of it there is.

The kite flying scene is absolutely beautiful. Eloquent and gorgeous- I've re-read it 3 times already. Very, very well done.
