Oh, god, this was just beautiful. And somehow really atmospheric. The chill of winter, the lengthy silences, the long hours spent driving, the charge in the air before they kissed―the entire fic felt achingly real. I love this so much.

I discovered you recently, and, having read some of your other stories, I have to say, I'm in love with your writing. Major Kanji/Naoto feels. Keep it up...please! :)

This is a nice story. short and sweet.

I love this. I love this to DEATH. If this were a T.V. show (The stubborn yet brilliant Detective Prince and her plucky yet hardass partner driving around the country solving murders and sewing up stuffed toys), I'd be fangirling all over it. On second thought, I don't need it to be a show. I'm already fangirling all over the place.

H-how can you characterize them so well? Kanji with his awkwardness and everything, and Naoto with her insecurities and everything too. This fic (and many other of yours) is beautiful, and perfectly in character, no one seem to be out of their canon character. I'm really overwhelmed. I've read several of your stories before, but only now that it clicked in my head : YOU ARE THE MOST AWESOME KANJIXNAOTO WRITER EVER BORN.

I'm glad that you still use the name Souji and not switching to Yu. And for me, it seems that he tried to pair them in this fic in a very Souji-like way, and I'll give him thumbs up :D

And when they kissed, I literally screamed "YEAH!" and did a high-five, all by myself in my room XD

Thank you for this beautiful fic. It portrays Naoto's insecurities really well, along with how she tried to bridge the gap, and I'm grateful that she's trying despite her own fears, because that is very human. Some humans prefer to be alone, but we can't deny it that we still need someone.

This is a wonderful fic. Sweet, touching and well written. I loved every word of it. Wonderful job.

And Souji playing cupid? That was quite obvious here, still a bit funny. They saw what was happening and pretended not to, with some positive results no less.

And Kanji so would be okay traveling companion, dude can sew, can beat stuff up, and most likely can cook as well.

This is one of your better works, Zero. The pacing flows natural, and the fact that we know the basic core of these characters only serves to save you exposition. In a way you have made these two your own and, at least in my particular case, can't see them better handled by anyone but you. All in all, lots of kudos.
