| zaisuro chapter 1 . 9/1/2019 Im really a once in a very blue moon commenter (not unlike your update schedule). I kid, lol. Still I felt compelled to review it. I just stumbled on it and generally I scoff when authors state it will be a slow burn story but damn, you have executed this perfectly. Usually I see this designation and everyone is head ovet heels by chapter three and I am bored to tears. The world you created is refreshing and the plot and subplots are a delight to navigate. I hope you decide to update in the future. |

| shwEED chapter 13 . 7/3/2019 This fanfiction is an absolute gem. I love this plot— political drama, underlying intentions to overthrow power, organized schemes where the stakes are incredibly high, all odds against the protagonist(s)— it’s absolutely lovely. Oh yes, and my appreciation for this pairing is a definite contributor. You write wonderfully, and you know how to keep readers on the edge of their seat. It’s difficult to find well-written works with this sort of heavier atmosphere as good as this, if there is at all. In the author’s notes you had apologized multiple times for writing a “boring” chapter, but i assure you, informative sections are quite interesting, especially when giving insight on the world. I love working my brain to connect the different relations of kingdoms or just processing the customs of each one. You are so talented and incredibly creative—the well thought out political structures of everything is incredibly intriguing to me. I hope you eventually get the motivation, time, inspiration, or other to continue this fic. It’s phenomenal, however, I do hope you take care of yourself as well! You are a priority. Anyway, it’s quite late for me right now, so I apologize if this review is convoluted. Thank you for this! Reading this is a wonderful experience. |

The story line is compelling, the characters are beautifully multidimensional, and your writing style is easy to read without being simple.
