Lorelai's condition seems to be psychosomatic!
She needs to start talking to Luke about what it is that is bothering her so much, that causes her to suffer so badly.
As soon as Rory tells Lorelai, that she is going back to Yale, I am certain Lorelai will start to get better! But Lorelai should at least tell Luke and Rory how she feels about everything! And I bet she can't really do anything else besides eat and sleep right now, so she must have a lot of time doing nothing, and she should use that time to talk to Luke about all of her fears and insecurities!
That she doesn't want to loose Rory to her parents!
That her parents are going to blame her, if Rory never finishes her education!
That her parents are going to be disappointed in her again, because she is pregnant out of wedlock a second time!
That she is the only one to blame, that she is nothing but a huge disappointment to everyone, that all this is proving that she shouldn't be a mother!

Glad that Lorelai and Rory have reconciled, but I am so worried for the baby, for Lorelai, and for Luke. Luke has to be at his wit's ends. Hope that the elder Gilmores are held at bay, or, that will be another bloody battle for Luke to endure. And, it will be all uphill. Keep up the good work. Looking for another timely posting.
