I do wonder what will happen when she wakes up. She did fall asleep on him on purpose so she can't complain. Although this is Luffy, he is bound to make the situation more awkward and embarrassing than it should be.

I like it how from the hard emotional part of the storie it moves on to a comical part so fluently. I'd even imagine a scene like the second part of the story happening in OP xD it just felt so natural for me!

Oh my goodness, the fic was pretty heavy at the beginning and middle, I'm glad you included that omake... Haha. It was hilarious and so Luffy-like. Very nice story, I enjoyed it a lot!

I love your stories... and even though this was inspired by such a sad such sad circumstances it was still very beautifully written and thought out. It would fit perfectly in Canon IMO. Also, I believe Nami is one of the few people who is actually able to comfort Luffy that way (or maybe I just think this because I'm a LuNa addict :P) Very beautifull One-Shot. I hope to see even more in the future :)

This is absolutely amazing. I mean, it shows that even if he tries to act tough, Luffy can still feel sadness and heartbreak, and when Nami broke down in front of him, he felt like it was okay for him to let it out, too.

This was a really sweet scene, and one I can totally imagine actually happening! I feel like you did a good job of keeping the characters in character, which can be really hard to do in the One Piece fandom! A lot of people seem to have trouble with that. But the emotions portrayed came through strongly. Also the omake was a really good idea. I laughed so much at the Luffy-to-Zoro interaction there. :D

This was a sad, but well written story. Since I am too re-watching Water 7, especially the english dub DVD set, showing the aftermath of the duel really touches home. It probably does not help that I wrote the duel and the fall-out in my own story, so all the emotions of grief, regret, and betrayal is very fresh with me at the moment.

I like Nami's subtitle way of comforting Luffy without her being so forth coming that it is out-of-character. After such a harsh day, Luffy deserves a little peace, especially with the hellish day that will follow after this night. My only pet peeve is that if you are going to use the Strawhats Japanese name I think it is Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan, not Mugiwara kaizoku-dan.

Anyway, good job.
