Usually I don't like 2nd person perspective, but I think you managed quite well. You have a good balance of behavior, cognition and emotion - that's what most stories with this perspective lack, either the writer is concentrating on the behavior (then the 2nd perspective is kinda unnecessary) or on the emotion (most of the time the plot isn't really developed, of course with a one-shot this wasn't quite an issue). Although stories with a 2nd person perspective tend to explore more on the emotional side, I think it is important to make sure the plot is going along nicely as well.
In conclusion, I agree that this isn't your best work, but I would say you are definitely back in the game!

I LOVE it! 3 It's amazing, it does seem rushed but it makes sense when you say in the beginning about writing non-fiction for a while, I would do the same thing. Will there be more because I kinda want more but the way you ended it made it seem like there won't be anymore...
