I think this story simultaneously made and ruined my day. I love the idea of Rewind being found by the Scavengers, and you did a great job showing how Rewind fit in with the rest of the group. Rewind had great character development, and the last scene with Chromedome was just heartbreaking (and incredibly well written). Rewind lost his arm, his function, his crew, and then even Chromedome. This was definitely sadder than I usually read (and I feel like I need to go off and listen to some sad music now), but it was a great read nonetheless.

Sad little story.
