Maybe Aphrodite should find a blind guy? So he couldn't see her perceived self but instead her real self?

I think I like her more as a redneck. Hey, an idea. What if you made it so Percy saw her like this and went from there? This could be chapter 1, Aphrodite's intro, then one for Percy and take it from there.

Wow I've never thought of that before (or seen in in a fanfic). I would love to see more. Like her finding that one person who sees her for who she really is and the others reactions to her true self. Especially Ares and Artemis.

Poor Aphrodite, I always did see her as a misunderstood goddess. You should continue this, I would love to see everyone's reaction to her real self(like catch her in the act of hunting or something) or her finding that one person who saw her as who she really was.

I like it! I think its a VERY original story!

A very different and creative view of a rather overused Idea. It's very refreshing compared to other stories that makes Aphrodite extremely shallow and stupid. I always think that Aphrodite has more to her than a girly personality just like how love has more to it than just casual attraction. I believe it's a facade more than anything. This is exactly how I picture her to be really like.

Basically, I love your story. Well written and very interesting.
