I seriously enjoyed this story; it's almost 2am now because I couldn't stop reading! I love your portrayal of Jess especially- the troubled delinquent who loved Rory but needed to work things out for himself, and who made something of himself, growing out of his moody I-hate-the-world-and-am-going-to-lash-out attitude and into responsible, independent and successful, and thoughtful entrepreneur and writer. Also, the dynamic of Richard and Jess is the undisputed best I've ever seen.

I can't wait for that sequel!

Its so sad for me to realise this is the end of this story. I hope there can be more, even if its a sequel rather than literally more of this fic itself. Wow. As I already told you by PM, your writing is wonderful. You have such a handle on these characters and your starting point for this story was one of many 'what if' ideas I had myself. Of course, Rory should've called Jess, and that would've led to more talks, meeting up, apologies, sweet kisses, and a beautiful happy ever after! You handled it all so well, my dear. It was organic and wonderful. It just made sense and I loved every chapter. I never thought, not at any point in the story, that things were going to fast or too slow, that Rory, Jess, or any of the other characters were out-of-character at all. Oh, how I wish it had all happened your way! Love all the book references, love the Logan cameo, love Rory & Jess first time and how that happened, love the grandparents reactions to Jess, love, love, love! This is going on my faves for future re-readage. You're awesome :)
