I wished you would continue this story, my friend

This is definitely a story where the MC is a Mary sue. With no faults and very pretty. The reviewers are being a lack of better words, a total group of bitches. The ones that are yelling and hating on other people in the comments anyway.

The plot of the story is also a absurd and well, not really thought out. It sounds like all the authors on this site is copying each others stories. Your story definitely has a lot of potential as so do the others, if only you would not copy other ideas. The first story with this idea is a fresh, well thought out idea, if it was written correctly. But all the others that come after it, are well, 99% going to be trash. Why? Because authors are so focused on plagiarizing the story and only changing a bit of the plot.

How do you change this? Think about what you want to write. If you want to write this kind of story, change it up. Write your own ideas and not someone else's. Remember changing the gender and or name of the characters but keeping the same original plot isn't going to help anyone.

Second step. Don't create a mary sue. Check if your character has any weaknesses that will be important. Check her personality, is she a bitch? Is she a nice kind person? Does characters like her no matter what. Granted, your really dont have to read and listen to this paragraph, but just a food of thought: Mary Sue's might be good for an occasional story. But people, like me get sick and tired of Mary Sue running around. Furthermore, is your character out of character for the timeline. Friday the 13 happens during the 1900s, the character shouldn't be modern times girl or boy. She or he should behave like someone who is raised in that time. Most people would have prejudged Jason. You could make a character who starts off like the others, then have character development and change their mind. You could have wrote the character 50/50 not quite accepting but not a bully either. However if you are writing for yourself, dont listen to this.

For people who will be commenting into he future, please remember that all people have their right to have their own tastes. While I agree that Roman could have been a bit more kind with his review it's not a good reason to shit on him.
