I always enjoy a little Capitan America whunp, because he is so good at it. But I do wonder why no one thinks of trying acupuncture along with the breathe control. I think that might work as it would not be fighting the super serum. Enjoying your work as always.

I admit, I've scrolled past this story of yours a few times now. However, after reading some of your other stories (which have been fantastic), I thought I'd give this one a go. And boy am I glad I did! Super story with a perfect amount of interesting and humorous character interactions that showed just the right amount of fondness between each of the team members, with a great bit of action and slight whump all thrown in! Thanks for the great story!

That story was really good. I liked how Tony just accidentally stumbled on to everything.

About the medical stuff... If they only need to drain it, they don't need surgery as such. They need a butterfly needle, a three-way tap and a 30ml syringe. All they need to do is stick the needle in wherever his abdominal wall is thin enough (I'd say ventral midline, just below the umbilicus) and pull the fluid out. That's usually done fully conscious, even on animals, which tend to wriggle. If they think the blood's already clotted, they may as well leave it alone. It won't do him any harm. His lymphatics will deal with it eventually.

Anyway, who cares? I enjoyed the fic. I kind of feel like Romanova might have been a more logical punchbag, she likes working that way, but if they're very brute-force-y, I can see why they did that the way they did. I like the idea of Romanova and Barton having specific games they play on boring stakeouts, and I like the words those games produced.

Awesome story. Cerulean St. Cloud *does* sound like the name for a "professional", be it stripper, escort, or porn star. Tony talking to himself, then joining the SHIELD team, is such a Tony thing to do - as is being Iron Man when someone is in trouble. Is Tony going to do a follow-up to determine if VP Bob is involved in any way?
