It really is a nice story. You put SM & WW through the wringer before their love could manifest &, who knows, maybe it's better that way. A part of me liked my idea that LL had a psychotic break-I think she deserves one, or something, to get her out of SM's way. Having Hera possess LL was a surprising twist!. WW curling up into a ball on her floor was heartbreaking.***There are a number of grammatical errors that might be fixable with the proper software.

OK, I didn't see that coming. I still don't like LL anymore. I'm well aware of family problems, they sure can mess up your life. I wonder if Olympus has a rubber room for an insane goddess (not that Zeus is innocent). Why did the Greeks tolerate philandering gods?

As I said earlier (although 6 yrs too late), LL had a psychotic break. She'll need a memory wipe to prevent her from spilling secret ID's. Next, she'll need a change of address-a rubber room. Do I still qualify for the 5 imaginary bucks?

I'm reading this almost 6 yrs after you posted your story. Over the years DC acquired the rights to various characters from the '40's as the end of World War II caused a gigantic drop in comic book readership. There were a small number of female characters but none had the draw of WW. Anyway, it seems as though LL has had a major psychotic break but is aware of it. LL is deliberately engaging in psychological torture & enjoying it. Why isn't WW mentally strong enough to deal with this? Unless SM is a total ass he will survive LL's death & WW will still be there to start anew. LL will age & SM might not. He will have time to adapt. He'll get lonely & "anxious," & again WW will be there.

Finally, the REAL Lois Lane comes out! Sadly, I'm old enough to have read the LL comics in the late '60's & early '70's. Lois always came off as a bit, um, "snotty," arrogant, & a social climber. Makes you wonder if the writers were unhappy with the character but didn't know what to do with her. We already know that one of the major DC editors tried to eliminate WW, but failed. Even when WW was less powerful she was still a natural match for SM. Steve Trevor was always wishy-washy, even though the old tv series made a better man out of him (there were a lot of faults in the old series, but it deserved a much better end).

Hera really doesn't understand what a Kryptonian is capable of when they go all out does she? If Diana were to die, he could easily go plunge himself into the Sun and then grind Olympus into dust under his foot and there wouldn't be much they could do to stop him. The Greek Gods always massively underestimate his capabilities and still think of him as a mortal when he's anything but that.
