Because of the way the show is structured, we'll never get anything like this, and yet, as a viewer, I needed a little more to feel at peace with the story line in my own mind. You gave me just what I needed! The dialogue between Jim and Castle was touching, meaningful, relevant, and totally in character. It brought tears to my eyes. I also liked that you included a call from Alexis (which I'm sure she would have done) and Kate coming home to the loft. This story had it all! |

It is totally believable that he & Rick would bond over being fathers of independent daughters. It is also believable that they would bond over loving Kate. Just a great sweet story from beginning to end. I'd have no objection to seeing more of the Beckett/Castle family as written by you. |
