I really liked this. It's not much of a review, but you wrote such a lovely piece I feel like it needed another review. Michonne and Rick's relationship is so intriguing to me, and has so much potential... hopefully AMC gives us more moments with these two characters alone. In the meantime, I throughly enjoyed this short, totally plausible scenario you've written. Thank you for sharing.

It's funny, I'm sorta more into Rick/Lori now than I was when she (and Shane, I guess) were alive. And then there's Rick/Michonne - I ship those two so hard. They're just alike, they get it. They see things - at least she did, we don't know if she still does. She's such a mystery. I can't wait to know more about her.

Maybe, even though she didn't tell Andrea, she'll mention something to Rick about her past, and they have another moment... Fingers crossed.

I have a lump in my throat. I think I need to have a good cry over this story. Rick's loneliness, his grief and love for Lori, and the looming inevitability of war with the Governor are captured perfectly. And Michonne...strong, fierce, smart. Rick can't see her light yet, but he will.

How have I not read your fine work before now? Yeesh. Please write more.
