Aoife Miranda chapter 14 . 11/18/2016
I loved this story! Pregnant Bilbo is seriously ***adorable***, especially when he's waddling; and I love that everyone thinks it's cute even though Bilbo hates it.

Lord Elrond and Arwen were totally awesome here. I always liked Lord Elrond in the LOTR trilogy and when we saw him in the first and third movies of the Hobbit trilogy. He's devoted to his people and loves his family (his interactions with Arwen were flawless), but has an open mind and is always willing to open his home to outsiders. I love how you wrote that in this story. I also liked that he and Arwen (her, especially) were quick to side with Bilbo and were protective of him. I liked how Arwen - especially - made it clear to Thorin and the other dwarves that he would have to work hard for redemption and that Bilbo would not be so forgiving. Bilbo is often too quick to forgive in fandom and I like that he had allies and was not willing to back down.

With that said, I did like how Thorin redeemed himself in the end by getting rid of the Arkenstone. I like how he realized what truly mattered (Bilbo, his child, his family, his kingdom) and that what is really important in life isn't made from gold and precious gems, but rather, the people in your life. And again, I like that Thorin had to work for his forgiveness.

Awesome work! I loved the plot, character development, Lord Elrond and Arwen playing prominent roles in this story, and - of course - the happily ever after (which was ***earned*** and not just ***given*** to the characters.) :)

multyfangirl21 chapter 13 . 7/21/2016
the child will have two fathers , one's his sire , the other is his bearer
Fili and Kili's nephew? their cousins , no matter how big the age gap is right now, they are young dwarfs at the most right now , if they were old or old enough with kids of their own ( as in two different familys , sorry ... not really sorry. but i'm not a fan of Durinsest ) then they could be uncles to their baby cousin
