Poor Dobby, Great work can't wait to read more
SkeNinja chapter 5 . 3/3/2013
What!? This is coming to an end? But it just started! Was it only yesterday that this fic was posted?

But epic chapter! I love the action, and damn Connor can still fight! Old as he is, I had no doubt that he would sustain his skills throughout his retirement. Guess all Assassins are hard to kill, especially when they're old. Achilles used a cane to defend himself. A. Cane. My goodness.

I liked that you used the skills Ratonhnhaké:ton acquired in the Tyranny of George Washington. Very creative. I always thought the tea was like some sort of drug. Did you notice that Connor was more…eager in the DLC? He had more bloodlust.

Well, I can't wait for the next chapter! And I've got a feeling that it's gonna be posted real soon!
en-lumine chapter 4 . 3/3/2013
This is wonderful! Cant wait to read more!
East Coast Captain chapter 5 . 3/3/2013
I think it would be nice if Matthew became the next protagonist he is such a complex man.
SkeNinja chapter 4 . 3/3/2013
Wow, I liked that you used the last part. Pretty symbolic. But I loved to see that you used the multiplayer characters. Will any of the others appear? I'd love to see that.

And Aveline! I can't believe she died! Well, at least she went down fighting.

Great chapter! Update soon!
East Coast Captain chapter 4 . 3/3/2013
Very rare indeed, according to William Miles, only one in ten million people possess Eagle vision those must be some very big odds if Edward passed down Eagle vision to Haytham who passed down to Connor who passed down to his daughter. I hope Matthew can reconcile with his father, he is a proud guy and I have no doubt that if something were to happen to Connor, he would train Charlotte in the ways of the Assassins.
JosephRamsey chapter 4 . 3/3/2013
OMG! I'm a bit disappointed about Connor and Dobby, but I'm really looking forward to this story. Please keep it up. It's an awesome story.
East Coast Captain chapter 2 . 3/2/2013
I assume that Matthew is in his mid to late twenties. But Im intrigued truly I am. I hope Matthew comes to term with his father.
East Coast Captain chapter 3 . 3/2/2013
I assume this conflict is the War of 1812, a lot of stuff happened that year. Interesting chapter, internal conflict about his past and present. Although I suspect Matthew is the next ancestor of Desmonds after Connor?
SkeNinja chapter 3 . 3/2/2013
Well, that was rather weird. I don't know how Desmond is there because they're not in the same time period. But this was quite interesting. I don't see why you couldn't just add the two chapters though. *shrugs*

Hope you update soon.
Jacob shives chapter 1 . 3/1/2013
Amazing!
SkeNinja chapter 1 . 3/1/2013
Well, this was quite interesting. What I'm a little concerned about is who is Connor's wife? Please tell me it's Dobby and not Aveline. Nothing wrong with Aveline but I just don't see both of them getting together. Besides, Dobby asked him if he was going to start a family, he would ask her first. Well, that is, if you've interacted with her for conversation.

But other than that, this was nice to read. It's good to see that you added the townsfolk from the Homestead. And you didn't leave the Guild out. They each have quite an interesting background, don't you think?

Although, your doing a lot of telling rather than showing. Sure, t brings the reader up to speed but it gets a little tedious.

As for dialogue, make sure you separate them. The conversation with Hunter, for example.

"I could use some acknowledgement, too, elder." The colored man jokingly noted to the old man.

"My mistake, Hunter. Has your wife prepared the shipment of eggs?"

Get it? Just make sure to divide them so it doesn't get confusing to read.

The summary says Templars showed up at the Homestead. These Assassins can't be them, could it? They're just there…for some reason.

Well, I hope you update soon. I'd like to see where you take this.
