(I am making it my goal - as there are less than 100 stories in the fandom - to review all the Dredd stories. Wish me luck!)

OK, abrupt change of pace and scene here. I am not sure it works - not that it doesn't fit with Dredd (it does; it's totally like the comics, although not the movie) but rather that it doesn't fit with the earlier two chapters you have. I think it would almost be worth splitting it off; taking those first two chapters and polishing them in to a separate piece exploring their relationship etc. and then taking this thread - the undercover thing - and making it into its own story.

Some reviewers have said this is humor and parody - I don't think it really is. Yes, it is funny; but it's really just the comicbooks' style - the breaking of the fourth wall, the weirdness, the obvious satire. This is a wonderful thing to bring to the world of the Dredd movieverse, and I think it could work excellently.

I think what is needed to really punch this story up is a thorough reading and checking for spelling, grammar, and clarity. There are few places where I'm sure a solid edit would catch things. But, a good, fun read which I enjoyed.

OK, this is cool - telling the story from the other side. Very cool idea - obviously, the same comments apply to the dialog as it is the same. You don't have description here of physical things - what is going on - very much, but you do have this wonderful interior monologue from Anderson, touching on what she is thinking and feeling. This is very good, very real and I like it a lot. Good stuff!

I like this - some really cool dialog (at the beginning, you really have Dredd down perfectly - later on, he starts to change, but that is unavoidable as this is apparently a 'ship fic). I really like the way you have the parallel constructions of tending to the wounds, in some of the dialog etc. - that is a cool touch and really fits with the movie (which has a lot of parallel / circular plotting and visuals).

I think where this story suffers is in an over-reliance on dialog; Mega City One is a crazy town, and it is the setting which Dredd to something other than a generic tough-cop movie. I want to see more of Mega City One, more description other than the dialog. Narrative and descriptions would frame the dialog and make the story flow smoothly and a little slower.

But, great work!
