Whaaaaat!? Come on Qui-Gon I mean seriously wtf are you doing!

This book absolutely broke my heart. Everything has been unraveled. Tahl is dead, Qui-Gon is gone, Zan Arbor escaped justice, and Obi-Wan... that kid has, as you said, almost nothing left. Why would you do that to him?
This is almost my favorite of the Lineage series, but I haven't read it all, so I can't say yet.

I feel emotionally empty. Ow. Why?

This was beautiful, as are all your other works. The balance of emotion and restraint that characterizes the Jedi is masterfully woven through this story—love and loss and sorrow and joy, possibilities lost and chances not taken. Thank you for sharing this story with us.
