So, EVERYONE knows he's dead now? Morbid. It must be terrible, having to see your dead best friend every day ... eventually, you might just find yourself going along with them. It's nice to pretend.

Oh, this isn't so bad. Kinda neat to see the original version...you did a good job of expanding it while keeping this conversation as the core of the fic.

This...is a deeply depressing idea. Wow. And you pulled it off so nicely.

I would have liked to see a little more description to fill this out and slow it down, really getting us settled into Danny's shoes and building up that sense of mystery and dread as he tries to understand what's going on. The dialogue is great, the action is solid, but I think taking the descriptive pacing just a step further would make this absolutely devastating. In a good way.

I'm almost afraid to read the second chapter; this feels like something that's just going to continue to be sad and hopeless all the way through... also in a good way.

This is actually really powerful having the drabble after the longer piece. It cements the 'first day of _ forever' concept really well and honestly, pushes the emotions over the edge. It's one thing to be told that this keeps happening, it's another to actually see (read) it.

Well you know how much I love your drabbles and admire your ability to get a whole story into a hundred words. It was interesting to read both the longer and shorter versions.

Oh my goodness, that was awesome. The quote at the beginning was perfect although it did clue me into what was going to happen.

It was beautifully put together line by line, laying down the story bit by bit building up an understanding of what was going on. You really made your readers feel the heartbreaking situation with your characters.
