Gosh dangit, Laora, are all the best authors conspiring to make everyone cry? This is the third time I've read this, and still my eyes are welling up!
That, of course, was a roundabout way of saying: you are an amazing writer! I've enjoyed all of the stories of yours that I've read, and you transmit emotion extremely well. I've come to the point where I'm reading what you've posted for things I've never read/watched/etc, simply because your titles and descriptions are so compelling and I am never disappointed.
Please write more; your stories are highly appreciated!

I love your writing style. It's an interesting way to portray (Ha Ha, that rhymed) Dís' absence from The Hobbit. Though, I must let you know, I don't know how the accented (i)s on Fili and Kili's name got started, but they don't exist. Seriously. Check the actual book if you don't believe me.

This... wow. It was written brilliantly. The parts that have been inserted in parentheses and italics are perfect, giving readers all the information they need to understand, and I think you hit the nail on the head for Bilbo's inner voice. I also love how Fíli ran to try and help Kíli even when he was scared, too. This fanfic... well, it was perfect. :)

Modern Au's are not usually my thing since the reason I prefer fantasy is because I want to escape from here. But I decided, if it's written by Laura it must be fantastic, so I gave it a go.

Fili hearing his brother, coming to help him and trying to hold it together for him. And explaining that Mama is dead...oh Fili you're seven you shouldn't have to do that.

Who know that so few sentences could hurt so much. 'He will never see his little sister again.' noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooope
