Oh, Katy... this is so sad for so many reasons, the main one, I think, being retrospect. And yet you know I loved it. So glad to see a story from you.

Enjoyed it... Good mix of tones- desperation and hope.

This is really sweet. I really love this moment between these two. The end is especially sad because I want it so badly to have happened. Stupid Voldemort...

And after reading this I can't believe your comment about not being talented enough to write a longer story, this is really excellent!

This was beautifully heartwtenching. There was a bittersweet (no pun intended) theme throughout, because we know who these characters are and their fate in the end.

I especially loved Fabian's line, "Lots of girls to balance out Moll's tribe." I got this wonderful picture in my head of the Weasleys and their cousins (mostly girls) with flaming red hair being really close with each other and having a good time. I only have a few cousins myself and I wished they had that kind of experience too. It would seem they'd be tight knit. But we can't always get what we want.

This was brilliant and I hope to see more HP from you in the near future! :)

How very good to see a new story from you!

That was so heartwrenching. It really does sum up th waste and tragedy of war but also that quiet dignity that gives people the strength to do what is right, no matter what the cost.

Loved it! So touching.

Very poignant view of a couple struggling against the strain of war, all the more so because we know the outcome for them. Great short.

I'm blubbering. That was really cute, and sweet, and I enjoyed the different characters!

"I just wanted something to be normal!" she sobbed. "Something in this stupid crazy world that isn't to do with fear and war and our friends dying!"

This. Okay, this is just beautiful. (And it's also where I think some dust must have gotten in my eyes.) I love how it really describes how I'm sure the entire Order was feeling at that time. And this story is a really excellent portrayal of what some people do when they're grieving or scared. It's wonderful, brava!

This was great. It's so sad that we know they will never have the children that they want so badly. I really don't think there is anything sadder to write about than unfulfilled dreams.

This is so sweet. And then I remember that they died, too, & all of a sudden it's very bittersweet.

You captured the emotions of being in a war very well. That yearn for a bit of normalcy.

Also, I've never heard the term 'fairy cakes' before. Cool!
