This was absolutely freaking ADORABLE. The characters were written incredibly well, I loved that Ganondorf isn't a douchebag boss like most modern-AU stories portray him, Link cracked me up, and overall the story was very sweet! It felt the tiniest bit rushed, but hey, it's a one-shot for a reason! Loved it. :)

I was dying from laughter when I read this fic. seriously, thanks for the good laughs.
when I read the "adopted" part, I just had to back off from my pc and laugh my lungs off.

I wish I could do this to my sister. (pardon me if this sentence is grammatically incorrect. as you can see above, my native language is Portuguese). but I can't because she looks a lot like me. the kind we're-often-mistaken-for-each-other like. and we're 3 years apart, she's still in school for fuck's sake.(and here I am, torturing myself to bring a better world to my cats. respect the vets. we suffer a lot in college.)

speaking of cats, I honestly don't know how you can manage to make a cat hate you. seriously, I picked the poor thing from the streets and 2 years later, he still looks at me with eyes shining with gratitude. even when I use him as my test subject when studying anatomy and physiology.

but yeah, back to the story: I love it. this is brilliant.

Ooooh, this is beyond cute! You had me literally giggling a few times, aaah this might be my favorite Link in fanfiction yet. Your Zelda's amazing as well, very funny and snarky. Pllllleeasse never stop. Gah. I'm having trouble writing an eloquent review, but just know I l-o-v-e-d this soooo much.

Well, let's give my English a try.
I really enjoyed that a lot. The Ganon thing felt at first somewhat odd, but it actually did work out. Snarky Zelda is great. Link's jokes were, well, quite bad, but I don't know how they managed to make me laugh, so good job there (?)
And yes, I would love it if you decided to make this a two-shot. (Please do!)

You wrote every character perfectly, despite Ganondorf being a bit OoC. Initially I was skeptical, but you really made his personality make sense, so I was quickly able to believe it.

And Link and Zelda's conversations were spot on! The dialogue flowed smoothly, making it believable. Link's slight immaturity helped by never making a dull moment. And I really enjoyed Link's family history. It shows how much thought you put into the story, which I always like. It makes me appreciate the story more.

I was excited when I saw you might continue, but upon realizing that this was written well over a year and a half ago, I think it's safe to assume that won't be happening. Despite that, you truly did end this well. A solid foundation for two defined characters with their future open. Sometimes ambiguity works and sometimes it's just lazy. In this case, it DEFINITELY works.

Again, amazing job!
