I love all this description!

I hate scary movies...this fic is actualy freaking me out...my dog just roled her giant paw out and knocked it against the closet..i jumped about a foot high...

I hope that people tell you loudly and often what a wonderful writer you are. I normally shy away from both AU and romance in my fanfic, but this has easily captured my attention for hours. I'm putting it down for now only because it's gotten dark and I live alone, and after The Bathroom Cabinet Scene I'm finding it way too easy to freak myself out.

I definitely intending to return to it, but I'm unforgivably rubbish at leaving reviews. I wanted to send this note now, to be sure to let you know how much your skillfull storytelling has affected me. Thanks for sharing your talent.

I wonder if Erik’s reflexion was still there in the mirror once Charles entered the room and he was out of his trance?
Those two are as adorable as ever. I wish Erik could trust Charles more.
I’ve forgotten a lot of elements about this (like Shaw’s place and everything ) but I can’t wait for the mysteries to unfold.
I still can’t understand how Charles can be so blind towards what’s happening to Erik. Is it a typical « love makes you blind » kind of situation or is there more to it ?
Erik is slowly but surely getting crazier and crazier I hope it will not end with « Erik is just a psycho with schizophrenia, the end » ( I do think this would be even scarier by the way)

I'm glad that Charles is now aware that erik's ancestor was kinda involved in the whole thing ! He might be able to draw some good conclusion unlike Erik who seems intent to ignore every sign thrown his way
About that I really wonder how much Erik lying to Charles is part of his own stubborn personality and how much is from what's actually happening to him
Like the same thing that bruising him and making him have those strange urges to go into the basement is also whispering to him "No Charles doesn't need to know that at all, it's better if he doesn't know..."

I can't believe how taken I am with this story !
..to the point of reading the whole 55 chapters in 2 days ! (it did help that I worked the night in between and had the day off XD )

I nearly didn't read it cause the summary just didn't appeal to me at the start but well I just read fools rush in last week (that I still have to review but this seemed more urgent ) and I fell in love with the way you write Charles and Erik so I figured why not...
and what a ride ! I didn't think it was really going to be scary but sometimes I felt down right uncomfortable (I went through my dark corridor really fast tonight...maybe I'm just too sensitive XD )

The whole horror-suspense story intersected with the Charles and Erik drama is just too good to be true ! (well it might be the recipe for all good horror story but with cherik it just feels better )
Erik is fustrating withholding information like that ! (but since he's so much more agreeable than his movie counterpart, you had to find a way to keep him frustrating somehow XD ) and to be fair Charles can be frustrating in his own way too.
I just hope it won't end in a sort beach divorce over the house with all that Toad is implying (please tell me it won't ? I just need my happy ending )

I imagine it's not such a wide-spread opinion but I find Raven kind of endearing in this. She's obviously struggling so out of her range. I'm feel sorry for her. Family incomprehension is so sad, sometimes you just can't seem to get out of it no matter what you try.

I can't wait for the next chapter... not trying to pressure you but I fear I might forget some element of the plot... Maybe I should have waited till tis it was complete but once started I just couldn't stop

I like that you made Erik the one who gets all knocked off balance while Charles is calm and collected for once, whereas most fics have it the other way around. Also, their discussion is very funny!

I've read this story once already, but I love it so much I had to read it again and leave reviews. Seriously, this is one of my favourite stories I've ever read. It's brilliant.

I love it! It's like dual treat for me: a horror story and a cherik love story. you did a good job writing it, being it's so big but not boring to read. i like how the story flows. i like how the characters grow (but i do hate Raven). i really curious about the house, the ghost, and what it had to do with Erik. so pleaaaase, update?
