This is lovely. Your characterisation of Jane is excellent... and although I remain skeptical about Lisbon giving up everything, it is AU so I can forgive that. But really, the major selling point of this story to me is the case: it's really well developed, goes on for the perfect amount of time without getting boring, your secondary OCs are well rounded and it's paced well. You should be very proud of that.

This was the chapter that LJ ate. It does seem like it ends a little abruptly but I guess that's how it was supposed to be. In The Thin Man movies the least likely suspect always did it, so you did a great job with that. By the way, it's devout not devote. Now on to the conclusion.

I did like, also like his advice to Edward, really hope this happens at the serie, Patrick Jane moves on.
So this is not the end? Will be another chapter?
