This is wonderful. There are very few Hook/Aurora stories but the relationship has potential. You've written her innocence and commitment so well here, his drive for revenge above all else but now his intrigue for her. He feels something for her. This is lovely, emotional, sweet, painful, moving. Thank you for writing.

I loved how in-character they were. I feel as though a lot of people like to neglect the fact when writing Hook that he's actually pretty nefarious. He's a sleazy jerk at times, but there's always been something appealing about redeeming that. And I think it's all the better that Aurora can do that because she's pure and good, and emotionally strong and brave. That's why I love AuroraHook and not Captain Swan - it's Aurora's innocence that saves Hook, not any gray-shaded morality.

I also love how you point out how strong Aurora is for her politeness and regality. Not enough people appreciate her for that!

I think you've just hooked me on this ship

Oh my god, I loved this. I think I might be swooning slightly. Sleeping Hook is probably my Once Upon A Time OTP, and this absolutely nailed it. The imagery! It's amazing- I can't even latch on to a favourite phrase or sentence because there are so MANY of them that are just lovely. Hook is deliciously dark and dangerous, with just a HINT of what he once was lurking beneath the surface. And I adored your portrayal of Aurora, as well, I think she's vastly overlooked just because she's not a fighter. The conflict between both characters versus their attraction was beautifully done, you didn't rush into it but I didn't get too impatient with endless describing either. (Which is a harder balance to maintain than it looks.) The dark passion was intense without dissolving into JUST animal instincts, which is perfect. I have to admit I didn't care for the tiny amount of Captain Swan, but it was so insignificant it wasn't too distracting. Thanks so much for writing this!

This was so good! Captures the angst and perfection of Aurora with the reckless edges of Hook! It's tragic without being maudlin and captures true feeling without being over-the-top!

I admit I never thought of this couple, but you really made it work. I loved how you portrayed Hook's mind. It was very well written.

I think you actually endoctrinated me into this ship before I even read this story. Pretty sure that I was looking at the list of your stories before I finished S2 and thought "Oh, so Hook and Aurora get together." Honestly, this is brilliant. As always, I'm utterly enthralled by your style, your extensive vocabulary, and the incredible imagery and emotions that your texts always evoke. There's such depth to your characters and an incredible level of skill that goes into each line. I'm just amazed. And jealous. Truly, this is a masterpiece of tortured emotions and restrained passion. Lovely, simply lovely. I might prefer "Equilibrium" for its pairing, but clearly you've won me over with this one.

That's probably one of, if not THE, best SH one shot I've ever read. I loved your characterization, it was flawless. AND JUST WOW FOR AMAZING STORY! FOUR FOR YOU GLEN COCO, YOU GO GLEN COCO!

this story is amazing, like your characterizations of hook and aurora are perfect! aurora has this regal, faithful flair to her, making it hard for hook to corrupt, while hook is this very damaged, and ruthless, wicked pirate captain who takes and kills to satiate his thirst for justice/vengeance to quench his dark, black heart. the flawless stream of words you used to compare the pair, describe their situations, and portray their twisted relationship are just so intense, feeling so real, and true to the characters, which is why i adore this story.

Um, okay, wow. I like this. Like, a lot. This was really good. Like, awesome. One of those stories that are just fine being a one-shot because there's no way to continue it. This kind of inspired me to write something for this ship as well (don't worry I won't copy) Good job, keep up the good work.
