Dear Saiken2009:

I have read both stories; "Family Ties " and "Family Vengeance" I loved both stories. I hope ypu'll more stories featuring "The Monkees". I've always love "The Monkees" and was saddened when Davy Jones passed away on February 29, 2012, then I was saddened again when "Peter Tork passed away on February 21, , I really loved you stories.

I just want to thank you for this amazing ride... I have been following this expertly written adventure from the very beggining! Everyday I would check for a new update and squeal with delight whenever I saw that there was one, it was what I looked forward to and it made my day... I was always left on the edge and wanting more let me just say no fanfic has ever made me this giddy EVER! Also, with the monkees being a small fandom, there isnt much good fanfiction so this story is a freakin blessing...Let me take this opportunity to say this... You my friend are an absolute genius GENIUS the plot and the character development and how it flowed and the riveting publish worthy events were PERFECTION you should be a writer you know? I'm serious. And as I am sad to see it come to an end, I am pleased that our four heroes are finally at peace... Thanks again :)

Ponderoso chapter 48 . 6/17/2013
Epilogue? I know you said this would be the last chap but I didn't expect it to be an epilogue or this short. What a ride you've taken us on since February. Amazing! Here goes the last review:
A bit of touch and go re Patty's baby but despite being born prematurely and needing to be in the neonatal unit, the baby appears to be healthy. While Farfisa is correct that SOME babies born prematurely decades ago DID survive [like Farfisa] many did not and this is one instance I'm happy to let the story be set in contemporary times since the care of prematurely born babies has made TREMENDOUS strides since the 1960's. Anyway, it turns out the baby is a boy and Patty names him Alan. Now, of course, it's your story[and her baby] and she/you can choose any name you want but I'm not sure naming him 'Alan Tork, Jr.' was the best way to go since 'Junior' is supposed to mean that the baby boy's father had the EXACTsame name and Alan was NEVER a Tork. Still, it would have caused yet another legal headache [not to mention endless complications re paperwork, etc] if Patty had opted to give her son his late father's legal surname, too. Regardless, the important thing is that she and the baby are happy and healthy and Marcy seems eager to be a big sister AND Peter and the others are doting uncles. Speaking of uncles, I just realized that if Marcy's now Patty's legal daughter and Micky's her brother, then that would make Peter [get ready for it] a MONKEE'S UNCLE! LOL. Good that Micky and Mike healed from the last of their injuries AND that all of them are giving Patty a great deal of help while she recouperates from the birth. She did SO much to help THEM -and I'll bet NONE of them could have predicted much less imagined any of this when Mike and Micky first encountered Patty fleeing Barty in the train station, or when Micky happened to first see an abused child whose circumstances seemed too familiar to him.
Good summary re the fates of ALL the other OC characters here and I have to say they virtually all got what they deserved so thanks for that [and thanks for not having Vern just quietly drift away while never emerging from the coma- even if his lawyer's trying for an 'insanity' defense].
Well, Saichen, you've done an EXCELLENT job with all this and I hope you weren't disheartened by some of my earlier comments. I think you COULD use the Monkees and their OC kin of Patty, Marcy and Baby Alan Tork in future stories since the characters were rather well drawn [and maybe even have Agents Mukada, Munch and Benson show up again] but you don't need to bring back their 'vile relatives' since the Monkees have ALL individually and collectively had cathartic finales with them. Also, I hope you won't be dishearted in my saying this, but the reason why I got annoyed when there seemed to be an endless cycle of violent acts is that I understand that violence and abuse happens in the real world but after these acts have been depicted so many times in a fictional story, it comes dangerously close to making the violence seem gratuitous and redundent which is not good for a story. Sorry, but I DO have my limits on what I consider acceptable violence to read and I'm not shy about stating this so take that how you like. If you're not upset by the above paragraph, I hope you may consider the following suggestion for a future story: consider doing a comedic one with possible occasional moments of angst but nothing more violent than pies in the face for the Monkees. I can tell you have the gift for writing comedy from the scattered comedic bits in this and other stories- and it may prove cathartic to do this for you as a writer. Keep in mind that it's been said that comedy is tragedy with better timing. LOL. Anway, I wish you the best of luck in your future writings. Take care and KEEP GOING!
Farfisa68 chapter 48 . 6/17/2013
I've gotten so wrapped up in this story I am bummed to see it come to an end. I've enjoyed it very much! Glad everyone healthy again! So excited Patty had a little boy. At 6lbs he'll certainly grow into himself. No worries! As a 1960's baby myself, babies came out smaller back then and were fine. I was 6 lbs. 8 oz and I'm now almost 5'10" and we won't go into how much I weigh lol

Again, this was a great story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you!
Farfisa68 chapter 47 . 6/15/2013
I think Patty should have a boy! That way everyone can enjoy Marcy and a boy.

Whether its accurate or not about asset distribution of jailed criminals or not, this was a great way to get everyone on firmer financial ground after what has to be some major medical bills! I think it's great that Patty is going to adopt Marcy and live so close to the guys! It's a win win for everyone. Wonderful that the bulk of the ill gotten money is going to charity! Awesome! I've grown really attached to this story- cant believe we are almost done. It's been a great saga! Look forward to your upcoming stories!

My only possible unanswered aspect in the story is Micky's eyesight fully restored? I know it was gradually getting better and can't quite remember if his vision was 100% back. He's sustained more injuries on top of the ones that were healing and don't want him to suffer any more complications!

Thank you Ponderoso for your concern and support! If you or anyone else wants to know more about my health issue, please send me a PM and I will fill you in about what's going on. Thanks again!
