YuKiOnA-Ga chapter 1 . 10/14/2018 So good. I’d love to read more of this, how it all began, how he slipped and fell into this situation. |
krisaku chapter 1 . 5/7/2017 Arghh the last part! Goshh that gave chills ! This is so good it kinda scares me how possessive and obssessive Toushiro is in this AU. |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/26/2015 please write more stories of hitsugaya being possessive over hinamori you write them amazing |
Guest chapter 1 . 10/23/2015 Please update I love this story many people don't have what it takes to do a story like this but you did it. It would awesome if you updated so I can countine to read more I'll be waiting for the update |
Ishiyo chapter 1 . 7/29/2015 You should write a sequel, where momo escapes and looks back one more time at the cave and thinks about hitsugaya and her then leaves knowing she never see him again cause she thinks it's best for the both of them...I have a weird imagination, anyway great story nonetheless! |
whitealmond chapter 1 . 11/16/2014 Really chilling - especially the last line. I felt shivers from a dark, yawning horror crawling up my back. He's guarding her like a dragon guards its treasure; she is almost not human to him anymore. Love twisted into obsession is terrifying and sad. On another note, I love that Tobiume is a phoenix, and not that strange bell-woman they have her as in the anime. If Hinamori ever achieves bankai, I fervently hope that Kubo makes Tobiume a phoenix. |
Lilly chapter 1 . 6/9/2014 Dark, but I love dark! :D I also liked how you descriped Hitsu's thoughts, as he tried to rationalize his actions. And the way they act just seems so fitting for both characters. Nice Work! *-* |
Saxophone chapter 1 . 12/7/2013 Sorry i actually send it before I finish the last paragraph about if Toshiro look closer he would have seen Momo's crimson eyes fade into nothinses I broke down crying but it's okay because you a writer that knows everything how to make the reader feel certain feeling. I hope you write more please maybe a squeal where momo eye shine come back... |
Saxophone chapter 1 . 12/7/2013 I reviewed a while but I guess it didn't come up so I reread it and I'm crying it really beautiful I don't now what to say this story make me feel a lot of things and the last paragraph if he just look he would have seen Momo's crimson eye fade into nothinses br |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/17/2013 This was what I've been searching for! I love it then Toshiro is kinda cruel to Momo but still loves her very much, so much, that he would destroy everything to protect her. I've been reading this fanfic over and over again. A little hard to understand first, but now I really can't stop reading this! You MUST write more of this. Sorry for bad English, I'm german. |
becomeafan chapter 1 . 8/30/2013 Wow. This is really... deep and just.. I can't even explain it. Hahaha! Very literature worthy |
icyangel27 chapter 1 . 8/9/2013 When I first glimpsed through this I thought it was one of those fics where Hitsugaya is depressed after Momo's death, but then I saw that he "gathered her into him, and kissed her shoulders" . And I was like, is this necrophilia? O.o XD then I read the whole story; to be honest it creeped me a little bit (and still does). Which is not necessarily a bad thing since this was the darker part of Shiro's "possessiveness". I liked the way you wrote his thoughts, well more like his rationalizing conscience (like those evil ones that take over someone's mind). I suppose it's safe to say that Shiro has crossed over on borderline insanity :/ But in the most extreme situations I could see why Shiro locked up Momo,in simplest terms. I got from this story that Momo isn't completely happy but she tells herself that she is. But the last line confirmed it for me. I sort of wished to see her more fiery character but I guess that flame has been snuffed out by Toushiro's dominance over time (does he beat her if she disobeys? And if he does, how does he deal with the effects of actually "hurting" her?) I feel so bad for Momo locked up ;'( PCE |
Awake Phoenix chapter 1 . 5/3/2013 I really (really!) love the way you interpret these two through your writing – the ice dragon & phoenix imagery (aaaah, I so loved this tiny bit, so very accurate and truthful to them), the absolute devotion, the overprotectiveness (which I can easily see from Momo's side too; she refuses to tell him how she truly feels about the whole situation not only in fear for herself but also dreading the possibility that it would shatter him completely) that can effortlessly turn into a dark obsession. The intensity of their feelings, his possessiveness and dependence – that she, having no other choice, accepts in submission, embraces and adapts to it. His urgency and famine envelops her completely and she too love him unconditionally, thus she undertakes the responsibility to reflect those emotions. But at her core, she’s an empty shell – she’s a phoenix and such creature shouldn't ever be held prisoner and here's her dilemma; as a phoenix she's, too, prone to this utter dedication and prioritization towards the object of her affections, self-sacrifice and selflessness for she loves in a fierce consuming way. Like fire. Also, I should note that I ADORED the words you used to describe their eye colours (emerald and cinnamon OH PLEASE, THIS!). No one ever seems to get it right and it just annoys me, because this is so important for their contrast - cold and sharp emeralds, and cinnamon - spicy in all her sweetness. Jesus, I love this. Seriously. I really, REALLY hope you get to write about these two again. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing. |
SakuraKoi chapter 1 . 2/5/2013 So sad but touching! |
Megilien chapter 1 . 2/2/2013 Really glad to see you writing for HitsuHina again!:) Wonderful job on this one- kudos for having the courage to explore a much, MUCH darker side of Toushiro's love/need to protect Hinamori. It broke my heart to see Hinamori pretty much dead on the inside, caged, like Tobiume in Hyourinmaru's embrace (loved that image!), but it was the kind of intensity that stays with you. Thanks for writing this! |
