| Guest chapter 3 . 7/20/2014 I got to say this is one of the best fanfictions I've read in a long time. It's so good it worth printing out and rereading again just for kicks. I like that everyone knows about Merlin. You should write a sequel to this exploring how Arthur and everyone ends up coming to terms with Merlin's magic. This piece of writing shows that you may have the panache to give the show the ending we deserved and not the piss poor ending we got. A fan |

| Guest chapter 3 . 5/31/2013 I've have had idea in the past, where Merlin uses his magic on tree branches that hold anyone, from the knights to slave traders in place, but I got to admit that I loved your idea of using tree roots instead! I could see Merlin doing something like that, it is so in character for him! This is something that I would have loved to have seen on the show! It's a shame they never tried something like that on the show. The way you wrote that scene I could vividly see it in my head and it just cracked me up. Leon's reaction to the vines and his part in the story just made it all the better. I also enjoyed the way you dropped hints about Merlin's magic for Leon and Gwayne to find and eventually put together culminating in the big reveal. I have read alot of fanfics about the big reveal, some so, so and others really well written and thought out, I would definitely put this one in the top three. The way you went about it was so different than the others I have read. Good job! A huge fan! |
