This is a very intelligent and realistic Darcy's POV! It's sad to see his pain but you show very well his thoughts, his flaws and his goodness. And I think that it's very beautiful his vision of Lizzie; she had hurt him and he sees her flaws but he still sees her good side and he's still in love with her. You write such a different sentiments and thoughts so well! Thank you for sharing!

Hey, I've finally found time to return the favour!

I really like how you keep to canon whilst playing with what little room you have here. As you can probably guess, I don't write 'in the moment' as it were; I prefer the freedom that you gain if you base your ideas after the story finishes. So to add in missing moments that are true to canon but allow you to show your interpretation is a skill in my eyes!

I love the robot thread too, you seem to have picked up Darcy's way of expressing himself really well, and it's more poignant than I had expected.

You have a knack for pointing out obvious things that weren't so obvious until you pointed them out:

"At least, in posting the actual video, she'd allowed him to speak for himself."

"He had wanted to believe her interested in him and had interpreted her words and actions accordingly, ignoring all evidence to the contrary. He'd seen in her what he wanted to see."

Also, I hadn't thought about it before, but of course he would have had to talk to Gigi before he wrote the letter so that he would have her permission to make the revelations he does. So thanks for leading me up to that, too.

Definitely. If he could come out of a video marathon and not hate her, his love has been tested and not found wanting. Hear breaking and beautiful. I love your portrayal of his thoughts. Well done.

i didn't think that much about how Darcy took those videos. I just assumed that he found them a little infuriating, but overall funny (well, maybe not the Wickham ones). Good job, it's a very realistic POV.

we all wondered what darcy thought of her videos while he watched them. you did a beautifully job of writing his story.

Ooh, I both love and hate Darcy angst but I'll admit fanfic of what he was like watching the videos are like a guilty pleasure. This was awesome - I too thought the "robot" bit would hurt him the most.
