aww I loved it!I admit I was a little mad a Thorin too, But I loved it!

I died quite a bit inside, really. I felt like stumbling with Kíli in those dark chapters, it was like a veil of black had fallen over the atmosphere and we're marching on without seeing an end. Then when there was that beam of soft sunshine escaping through the hastily drawn curtain into this last bit, it was all life and laughter again, and it's so beautiful. Good Lord, I don't think I made much sense, what I'm trying to say here is your ability to set the tone and the mood to your story is incredible, it really pulls the readers into the characters mindsets. I loved every single moment in this story!

That was a masterpiece...
I can easily imagine Kili going crazy, decades apart, that was a rough one...

Finally, Ferowyn, finally they admit their feelings. The first kiss was just so tender, so beautiful, so sweet. It's good how they think its wrong, but so right. Most people don't put that part in

I really enjoyed Fili's confession. It was very good to know how hard things had been for him, and it felt natural that he had been aware of his feelings first, already having dealt with them but still afraid.

"You want to try it?" he finally whispers - This made me feel as relieved as Fili, I think! I had my heart in my hand while I read!

Thorin's apology was very good, and you can't help but to understand his reasons for separating the brothers. Thorin has his own pains to deal with, and it was rather sensitive of him to have Balin tell them about him and Dwalin.

And of course it happens during a game of chess! xD
I must have read the kissing scene dozen times already. It's very very very very very good! One of the best Fili/Kili kiss I've seen, really! And all the rest was perfect. The contradiction of feeling right despite being wrong, and Fili's coarse voice asking "Again?" and Kili's immediate response and the final paragraphs. Everything!

Fili saying the words that illusion-Fili used to say gave a perfect touch of destiny to it.

Awww this was so sweet! Also, I don't mean to sound patronising but I've been reading your Fili/Kili stories since the first one you posted, and I think your writing has been improving the whole way. I can't explain how, exactly (not being particularly experienced myself!) but it seems to flow more smoothly somehow. I love your grasp of all the characters, their thoughts and emotions and actions. I thought Thorin was a bit of a dick in the beginning but then he got much better :) please write more!

I have to say, this is probably the first Durincest story that I'm glad didn't have any sex. It was cute and pretty realistic if you think about it. I'm glad you made Thorin and Kili make up. I loved this story, and am looking forward to more from you! :D
