THIS WAS PERFECT

This was excellent. I love how this one-shot is kind of suspended in the middle of a larger narrative. Hermione and Ron breaking up, her and Harry getting close, starting to get intimate, and then alludes to the eventually telling Ron. Makes this in-between moment all the sexier and interesting. I also thought Harry and Hermione where surprisingly in character for this type of fic. The one shots I read are usually really angsty and depressing so this was a welcome change.

I loved this short story. The confusion she was going through. Loved that they had sex in a public place.

Oh my god, Harry's last line brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful and had enough drama and angst plus hot smut. Could this be any more perfect? :)

Loved it! I would agree 100% that Harry has always loved Hermione but took a back seat to Ron. This was really excellent!

very nicely done. combining the dreaded 'how do we tell everyone we know' with the pressure of the holidays and the 'what are/were we thinking' into a single story is very tricky. Add to that a bit of winter citrus ...

I like how you have them so in tune with each other, and yet so unsure.
