Great fic! Don't know how I missed this one of yours before...

This is one of the very first stories that I read while I was still a lurking guest; I was not sure how best to review then.

This story is beatifully told and the transition between wakefulness and dreaming is described very realistically. You describe Watson's fretting about all that had to be done - and Holmes' concern and care - very well too.

this is a tale of true friendship.

I love how you focus on the more human qualities of Holmes and Watson.

D'aw Watson...I feel so bad for him sometimes because you just know that this is completely possible in the Holmes cannon.

But lovely fic. Even though it was posted at 2:55 AM (according to my email) and you too should have been asleep at that time. Do not be like Watson in this case, please.

Nice story, but could you make it a bit clearer when the nightmare begins and when it ends? I got a bit confused on that point.
