Aww, that was a nice story. I actually have wondered what the Guardians might do during conflicts such as the wars mentioned here and you gave a good look of what their actions and thoughts may have been. I hadn't heard the story Gail Halvorsen before but it's stories like these that are the most inspiring and are worth telling over and over. Great job!

That was so sweet! I loved the portrayal of the characters, and really liked Gail even though he was barely in there. (You know how OCs usually take longer to warm up to)

this was a lovely one-shot. it's nice seeing Jack acting like a Guardian even before the MiM chose him. and with a believer too!

That is one of the wittiest and loveliest one-shots of ROTG I have ever read. I enjoy the stories that take place at various points in history, which makes the Guardians timeless as we get to see their many different "missions" through the centuries.

And if there was ever a time when their light was needed, the notion of Jack Frost bringing happiness and sweetness back into a world post WWII makes for perfect timing. Especially on the wings of a pilot's aircraft. I've only heard briefly about the candybombers but now reading about Gail Halvorsen through your story is fascinating and heartwarming.
