kathmanw19 chapter 4 . 8/30/2018 Hey maybe you can some of the other characters try teddie "suit" |
keysanddaydreaming chapter 4 . 8/23/2015 Thank you for the fic, no many people focus on poor Teddie |
Zantetsuken Reverse chapter 4 . 2/24/2015 Aw... I love this fic! It's really adorable. Teddie wants to live, and he's fairly naiive. I wonder if he's going to get mugged or something. |
ggfuweiuewgtki12 chapter 4 . 4/14/2013 I really like this fanfic, you really capture Teddie's personality in his thoughts. And yeah, there should be more Teddie fanfics! |
l3largus chapter 3 . 3/10/2013 A cute and noce read. Also, Yosuke's gonna be piiiiiiiiiiissed! lol, thanks for updating. |
GeneralGeneric chapter 2 . 2/8/2013 I enjoyed this chapter! Even though the latter half of it was the game script like you said, the first half was plenty imaginative enough. It was nice to see Teddie's interactions with the employees and customers - I loved how the pair of co-workers reasoned out a solution that seemed legitimate. Also, the nod to the anime with Loveline didn't go unnoticed. In those descriptive paragraphs about the store's wares, you captured the general feeling of wonder pretty well. But what surpassed everything else was the scene where the kids were piling onto Teddie, and he was embracing their affections with open arms. It was adorable. Unfortunately, most of these positive feelings went away after Teddie emerged out of his suit. The way he's described, it kinda makes me want to punch him - it's probably his smugness factor, haha. And while I'm talking about that part, I enjoyed Yu's understated reactions the most. He's a funny guy. Some constructive criticism: you could vary how you structure your verbal dialogue for less repetition. I couldn't help but notice how, in the beginning, you kept introducing the employees' sentences with "the man" or "the woman." The formatting is a little awkward. |
l3largus chapter 2 . 2/1/2013 This is an interesting idea. Teddie isn't really a character whose perspective I care about but this is really funny. I had to catch my breath a little after beginning to read Yosuke's thoughts about "Mystery-Pretty-Boy" Teddie. Plus it's always humorous to see the calm & collected type characters to be flabbergasted. I hope you get out of your slumps & do well on your exams. |
TerriblePersonExtraordinaire chapter 1 . 1/12/2013 Beary interesting, I would really like to see more of this! |
GeneralGeneric chapter 1 . 1/11/2013 You've done a good job of capturing Teddie's voice here! He has the right amount childish naivety here that makes him endearing, along with the more serious, contemplating portion of his personality. There are some who depict him as overly perverted or childish while missing the other facets of his behavior, which leads to a caricature that can get pretty annoying. I've always been interested in how the other characters in P4 interact with each other and themselves outside of what the game gives you; Teddie here is a good example. Growing a body out of the blue must have been shocking, and I think you've described the general moment well. I like how you included Teddie freaking out about seeing his empty suit from the outside and the subsequent acclimation to the whole situation. And now that he's on the loose, I'm looking forward to your interpretations on future events (especially how the Hanamura family reacts to him. Oh man, that's going to be fun. I have a feeling that Yosuke's dad would accept Teddie pretty well; the guy seems like a fun dude, judging from "MANsoon season." P4G added a lot of extra fluff, haha.) Some things to note: I'm noticing some format problems, mainly the lack of spacing between some words (ex. "Teddiecharged," " ExperimentNuméro Trois", "wassupposed", etc.). You also use a lot of ellipses - those could probably be trimmed down some. I wasn't bothered by it though; it was an offhand observation I happened to make. Looking forward to where you'll be taking this! Even if this was never updated again, it still made a nice one-shot by itself. |
