Very nice work with Sandy's pantomime method of communication. I really got a kick out of North already suspecting Jack's relations, he's one savvy Santa. You really do wonder about Jack's little sister, and though he did save, having your brother go through thin ice has to be a traumatizing experience. So I like how you put a little emphasis on whatever tragedy his sister might have gone through, she was able to move past it. You do point out that though Jack cherishes his family he definitely capitalizes on the opportunity to annoy Bunny, but you still effectively show that Jack really cares about his many greats niece and nephew despite how he also has fun with it. Throwing all the reactions of the Guardian's together makes for a more interesting mix than just doing them all individually, aside from Bunny. One of the things that I really liked about the film was how the emphasis was more and familial relationships and friendships than romance, and I'm glad you're sticking with that same theme.

As I haven't really been perusing too many Guardians fics, you get all the credit for being the first author, that I've read, to link Jack's line to Jamie and Sophie. Even if it's been done, this is the first time I've come across it and I'm really touched. Though I had a few issues with the execution of the storyline in the film, I overall liked it a lot, and really enjoyed the emphasis on connection and Jack's family and how he just wanted to interact with people. Even though it's done with a humorous backdrop, I still started feeling all tender and heartened through finding out Jack was related to the first person in years to actually see him. On the humorous side, I got a definite kick out of how Bunny keeps describing all these things about himself that are supposed to be a sign of true grit but have the most cutesy sounding names. Going over the reactions of the other guardians to finding out about Jack's relatives was a good move move, and really does open up some good comedic moments. Good choice starting with the character who Jakc antagonizes the most! Suffice to say, it's a perfect balance of humor and family and I really enjoyed reading it!
