I have been thoroughly engrossed all day reading this tale :D and I've enjoyed it so very much that I actually joined so that I could tell you so.
Thank you for writing, and posting such a really good enthralling story. At last the goa'uld move beyond pantomime baddies and actually have a society, a backstory and a believable and alien existence...and the humans did so too, with really good characterisation and rich conversation. The end of the story came all too soon, but it was well done, neatly rounded off and tidied up...and Ba'al's still there, with his mad Queen. I hope you had fun writing those years ago, I certainly had fun reading. Worthy of many kudos and re-readings :)

Truly one of the most, if not the most amazing story I have ever read. Part of me is happy he's home and the other part of me doesn't want the adventure to end. Now I have to collect up all these chapters and read from the start again... and again.

Semi-ascended? Works for me on all those ways that push my Daniel happy button. And the connection between the Goa'uld, naquadah, and the history you have created for them is brilliant. Want me to keep gushing? I can.
