Three years late in catching up with commenting, but these were among the /first/ hobbit fics I ever read and they are still just so good and poignant! Love your characterization - especially your take on Dis!

Generally I'm not a fan of the incest (I had liked it ever), but Fili and Kili are the exception. I am charmed with them!
Lamentably there are very few histories on them two, and the majority they are in english.

Well, returning to the topic: I was charmed with your history, the statements of them being small they were very sweet, his fight and reunions. It's impossible not to love these boys, they are so linked to each other and are known to the perfection.
And you still had Dis's point of view brilliant. The dread and the suspicions of a mother who alone wants to see his happy children, being debated between finishing with the "problem" of root, or to make them alone.

Probably we all want to know how it follows the history, but I think that the end that him gave is very guessed right.

Love this fic, it has so much potential, maybe just one more chapter describing their stern decision to remain lovers, against all odds? Ah, their fight moments are so adorable and intense, it's like a set of twins interacting. Dis' P.O.V. is great. The scene where they kiss so passionately is really hot, btw.

I really liked the story from Dis' point of view; I haven't seen her take on a story like this. It's really well written and I particuarly liked the part there with the gift Fili made for his brother.

I looove it from Dis's perspective! It's so new and fresh and really wonderful. And your Fili and Kili are just spot on.

I have some difficulty believing FnK are so open, unguarded even, with their relationship, as grown Dwarves. I found their childhood fights hilarious, although I also think Thorin and Dis would like a lot more attention! Innocent Thorin in big-brotherly action mode, while Erebor was wealthy and overfilled with gold...perhaps getting into mischief with Dis :P Sorry, just a ramble. I do love fanfiction so!

I must add that your English is quite good for a non-native speaker. There's a Brazilian movie called "Do Começo ao Fim" which is also about a not-so-brotherly love between two very devoted young boys, and it also uses the mother's perspective who's torn between feeling disturbed and relieved while watching the romance develop between her sons. If you've seen this movie (and I assume that may just be the case, given that you're from Brazil), you did a very good job of evoking the same atmosphere in your fic. If you haven't seen the movie, I'd totally recommend it to you! :)
