Yes, I truly agree with you! I think, from mind and soul perspective, Clint will not hate Loki as many fanwriter portrayed him so. Clint has a vast mind as to be able to think through how tesseract works, so I think he would have slightly different thought about the horror of being mind controlled by the mighty scepter. As you already written on this, I agree of the way it was more like sharing insight rather than being a puppet. I too agree that such an idea was not that easy to share with someone who didn't get on the same experience. In this case, anyone outside Clint and Erik.

I like your Clint, and especially how he regards Loki as 'his god'. I don't particularly like FrostHawk or anything, but I do love the way this forced connection by the scepter gave them a good base of relationship. As you do, I believe Loki was not entirely bad, so this connection was a good save for him, on that situation.

This was an amazing character study of their relationship. I'm really glad you presented such an interesting perspective, because you're right; no situation like that could be black and white.

I've never really considered Hawkeye's view on Loki after Loki brainwashed him but I've also never really been satisfied with the usual take on Hawkeye's personality around or about Loki. Thanks for this amazing fic and for opening up a new potential pairing!

This was an excellent read and it fits with how I have come view Clint's thoughts on being under Loki's spell for a time.
I've read various fics where yes, Clint hates Loki for doing what he did. This one adds a new dynamic to that. This story also intrigues me into wanting to see more of this story line. I'm curious to see where it can go from here.

I found it interesting in Thor: The Dark World how Selvig went a little coco for coco puffs. I feel Clint would have some residual effects effects as well (which I'll be covering in my serious fic story lines). Selvig knew Jane had been to Asgard seeing her new clothing (I believe that some of Loki's memories and thoughts were implanted into Selvig's mind hence why he knew about and was so obsessed with the Convergence). It's something I am exploring as well ;)

Erik and Clint as Loki's family...you have throughly convinced me of your head canon. Your exploration of how immortals need harsher punishment really said something. The ending when Clint decides to return the favour of sorts was also wonderfully written, great job!

I love your perspective on Clint's and Loki's character so much! It feels so novel and fresh and real and true! I'm a bit flabbergasted here. Does it fit as canon? I'm not sure yet but I really like the idea and it definitely is my favorite take on their relationship from what I've read in the fandom as of now. It's so much more complex than your usual "control hate" fic. I loved it so such I could kiss you!
