I love how Soma and Agni wish for a bond like the one Ciel and Sebastian share, when theirs is so much stronger (at least, in my opinion. Enduring abuse in exchange for a soul doesn't seem like grounds for a strong relationship...). And everyone was in character too. Well done!

At the risk of sounding like Hermione from Potter Puppet Pals, what a fascinating character study! It's interesting to have the characters stopping to observe one another for a moment and to explore their relationships. You have all four of their personalities nailed as well and the interaction being watched in both chapters was nicely written. I love it how Sebastian and Ciel appear to be deviously plotting as usual and Soma and Agni are like 'they're such good friends!' There aren't many fics like this. I like the ending too:

'"Damn demon," he grumbled.
"Thank you."'

This was really cute, and it was a great idea to do it from both perspectives. I think everyone was in character. It's really nice to see a decent fic with Soma and Agni. There are so few and many I have seen aren't my taste at all.
