Thane survived, and you did it in an awesome way. Heh... it seems that nobody dies in the Mock Effect universe ever.

So many lols! It's been a while since you've updated. I also like how you jump to Kai Leng's elevator as it stops at every floor. Udina shooting himself and falling off the balcony was priceless! I'd have paid to see it happen! Waiting for chapter 13.

So much laughter in this chapter: Liara selling life insurance; Thane threatening to bite Jane's legs off; Udina's "accident"; and plenty of other instances that I can quite recall at this point.

You also lampshaded my number one least favourite thing about the game: Kai Leng's plot armour. I became so frustrated by the time of the encounter on Thessia that I wanted to tear him to pieces.

I quite enjoyed your characterisation of Lt. Victus; it never would have occurred to me that sending up a flare would also alert all the nearby enemies, but now that you've pointed it out... yeah, that does not seem like the brightest move.
