If Gine has been alive all this time, why hasn't she tried to find Goku? She never went to Raditz, probably because he was under Frieza's control. In the DBZ wiki, it said that Saiyan infiltration babies have a low mortality rate. So she probably assumed he died.

Gine appeared in the newest DBZ movie, she seems like a nice motherly woman. So she would be doting to Gohan once she meets him.
