I’m uninterested in the story enough as it is... why make it worse by focusing on the extremely boring, uninteresting background of Valamyre? Also... Valamyre? Seriously? If it were physically possible to vomit from cringing over a story, I’d have just done it.

Lemme get this straight. He taught himself to read, write, how to do maths and taught himself how to use magic, including mastering his metamorph abilities, all by the age of six or seven? It’s already bullshit, but then we get onto the more bullshit things. He supposedly read enough books that he could make potions without recipes, as he knows the effects and reactions every ingredient has, but after all the books he read the best offensive spell he knows is stupefy? You keep referencing his skill at duelling... how does he know? There’s no mention of him having duelled anyone until Greyback, but he is somehow able to keep up with someone that has much more experience (meaning, they at least have some). How? Don’t even get me started on the cringe inducing use of two wands or his many inventions. This story seems like a major Gary Stu.

Cool, huh? We're not done yet, folks, for the muggles have suddenly discovered us, and what do we do? Remember the witch burnings just a few decades ago?
