The cure for a Horcrux is PUMPKIN JUICE!?

When McGonagall bashing is around two canon episodes come into my mind immediately.

50 points each from Harry, Hermione and Neville, three Gryffindors with exclusively benevolent intentions, 20 points from Draco, the Slytherin with exclusively malevolent intention, and probably hailed a hero in his common room for costing the Gryffindorks the cup. For the same infraction. And then, for being out at night, a detention at night, in the forbidden forest, which is, funnily enough, forbidden. Hunting something that's evil enough to hunt unicorns, fast enough to catch them and strong enough to kill them. And neither Hagrid with his one crossbow bolt, nor the coward Fang, are acceptable guardians, AND splitting them up was incredibly stupid in addition to that. It was, in short, a death sentence. For breaking curfew, first offense, eleven year olds.

And: "Professor, I'm being tortured by a teacher, and this" shows back of his right hand "is the proof."
"I don't care, keep your head down, Potter, and your gob shut and don't bother me!"

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Harmonian, but if there's a ship out there I like even more it's Lunar Harmony. Those two girls complement each other perfectly. If only Hermione can accept Luna's quirkiness.

And not to forget:

Ten points to Gryffindor for saving a classmate, which was necessary because we didn't do our jobs and a hundred and fifty points FROM Gryffindor and the Death Penalty for being out of your common room at night. Oh, and twenty from Slytherin (and the Death Penalty) for exactly the same crime.

Or: "I've been tortured by a teacher and (showing the back of his hand) here's the proof. You as Head of the House of the Brave should do something." "No I won't. Just keep your head down and your mouth shut, it's your own fault that you're tortured." And it's not just Harry this conversation took place with, she would've told Jordan the same.

Or: If the Great, Wise and Wonderful Albus the Magnificent tells me to I make the most stupid, lazy, greedy, jealous and disgusting creep Prefect; and the one who saved our jobs, hundreds of lives several times, and our arses out of Azkaban, has to sit by and be disappointed despite his DESERVING the position. Pity!

So, aim at McGonagall and bash away! If I could punish the Hogwarts staff for their misdeeds she would get Life in Azkaban. It's not bad enough to do her in like Dumbles, Snape or Umbridge, but she did enough to get prison time until she dies.
