This was beautiful!
Kyranol1 chapter 1 . 4/12/2015
I'm so glad you chose to go with this route rather than the lighthearted romp idea.
Once again, absolutely loved this story.
JuliMaus89 chapter 1 . 3/14/2015
Wow, what a beautiful, beautiful litte story. I know it has been postet years ago, but just recently watched Legion again and felt the need to read some fanfiction.
Your potrait of Gabriel is so much deeper than the movie-Gabe could ever hope to be. I'm sure you won't be posting any more Legion-stuff, but I really wanted to say thank you for this great peace of fanfiction anyway.
kaiasmith chapter 1 . 5/15/2013
This little story is such a gem! It's such a beauty and made my heart ache for Gabriel. At first it made me cry for his loss, but it also made me hopeful that he might find something in humanity to love and fill the void left when he fell. I'm new to fan fiction and have read many fics that have touched my heart. Yours is the first that prompted me to write a review. Well done!
opheliablue1 chapter 1 . 4/24/2013
I love the way you write. I recently read Tongues of Men and Angels and the first thing that struck me was the way I feel a little (how to phrase this), shoved around when I read your work. Then I find this little gem. It makes me miss your style now when I read others' stories. It's a hangover that I'll get over eventually, but for now, I'm happy to find every published morsel of yours that I can! Thank you for your contributions :) - Ophelia
ToxicRainfall chapter 1 . 12/14/2012
Ah, how much I love your Gabriel! I have missed him so much after the ending of Tongues of Men and Angels, and once again he is so perfectly melancholy. Reading this perfect, perfect piece, it seems to me like this would have been the story of Gabriel on Earth, once human-kind has picked itself back up, had he not met Bethany and Joy.

As always, your writing is extraordinarily beautiful, and the images are so pretty and lovely. I love the sadness and melancholy of it all, and it's another one of your stories that has left me with so much feeling inside. I miss Tongues of Men and Angels, and I'm so glad you wrote this and put it up, as it supplements my need for your Gabriel.

I miss your emails, and being able to talk to you all the time. I hope that one day, we can talk as often as we used to.

A lovely story, and so, so absolutely perfect. :)
IronKissed chapter 1 . 12/7/2012
I like it! You did a great job at blending the isolation with starting something new. I loved the ending. And the way you did but didn't add any talking was perfect.
Perun Lock chapter 1 . 12/4/2012
INCREDIBLE! I have really taken some inspiration from this story and I love your style of writing! Excellent depth and brilliant vocab! Very intense and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!
Red Molly chapter 1 . 11/28/2012
Mother of PEARL you LIVE! This is beautifully written, as always. I like your similie here: "folding her hands tenderly into fists, which he will hold like apples and press his mouth against..." For some reason that resonated with me. The tenderness in that single line permates the entire piece and it's so very well done. I am glad to see you back my friend!
