(Commenting on a different chapter cause you can't comment on the same one twice); And also, (again if you haven't already written about it) Gai and Kakashi's first meeting, with Gai and his (over)reaction to Kakashi's muteness would be fun to read about!

I haven't read past the fourth chapter yet, but unless you've already written something close to this, I have a request: I would love to see how Kakashi would react to being subjected to a large explosion and temporarily losing his hearing (or maybe sight- which would also be a sense he relies on when communicating with people) in addition to his voice. Age doesn't really matter, do what you want to do! But maybe at some point where he's dealing with someone who's not super-educated in signs, so the communication will be difficult.

Really like this idea btw. I've always wanted to write a fic like this (deprivation of a sense), but have never really found the right scenario for it, but I really like reading someone else's take on it!

I can't believe it's already been so long. I started reading this when i was 15 in 2012... now im already 22 and I'm still stuck on this one. It was the very first fanfic I'd ever followed so religiously- probably the only one I think of when I'm just sitting in class daydreaming. It's crazy to think there was a 2 year gap there, too! I'm so happy every time I see it update, its a little wave of nostalgia each time. Its so weird feeling like I have this pseudo-friendship with someone i've never interacted with! I'm excited to see where you're going to close this one. I think I'm going to go through and just pull out my favorite quotes in a review one of these days.

Oh thank you so much for this chapter! It was great and I love how compassionate both Kakashi and Gai are. especially Gai. He could have been rude but he wasn't and even Lee would have been okay with it too. Great job.

Honestly I wasn't expecting this to ever be updated! You actually taking the time to sit down and write something for this is honestly so awesome! You totally didn't have to, you could have just left this story as it was, but you didn't. That's just so amazing! Thank you! And I loved the chapter! God I've forgotten just how sweet Lee can be. Its been a while since I took a peek back into the Naruto fandom, but this is well worth it!

Ever since reading this for the first time, something's always bothered me. Why bother writing "yes" or "no" on your hands when a simple shake/nod of the head would suffice? I actually thought about this a lot. A lot more than I should have, actually. If it were me, I'd probably have my first name(which is, thankfully, only four letters) tattooed on the back of my dominant hand, my last name on my dominant forearm, and the word "HELP" on my non dominant palm. I have read in a few places that tattoos on your fingers and palms tend to wear out and warp quicker than on other places so I might have to redo that last one every once in a while, but that's alright...yeah I thought about this way too much.
