Pretty grim - but I really liked Luke waiting for her at the end

Very good tragic story. Well written with a good flow and a philosophical lesson for those who want it.

This is something that I never would have thought of and a lovely view of an alternate world/alternate Mara.

I loved this so much. The pacing and the tone left me crying. Not many stories can bring me to tears, but this one did. I cried for Pellaeon, too.

Her descent into the dark makes complete sense in this scenario, as does her return. Haunting and dark, but the bleakness of this universe is so beautifully written. Well done.
