Whoa, I love this story so far! And yay for including Fasendil in it! I've always found him really interesting, but his rather limited unique dialogue was frustrating! I had been hoping that his story would be more fleshed out in the game but he ended up just being a very minor character. Sadly, no one seems to want to write fanfiction featuring him either. :(

I'm really excited that you've got Faendal in here too. On my most recent playthrough I have kept him as my companion almost the entire game because his ranged combat skills suit my play style so well. I'd really like to see more interaction between him and Meleske, in which she perhaps warms up to him and treats him a bit better! I feel a little sorry for him at the moment, having to deal with her while she is so traumatized and stressed out. ;

I ADORE Meleske so much! I imagine she'd be very frustrating to know in person but I have had so much fun reading about her so far. :D Love her spunk, and can't wait to read more when you next update! :)

Well, by any chance, are you continuing this fic? It's rare to find a story depicting a highborn privileged dragon born who's rather spoilt or arrogant. They tend to be interesting to read.

OK, first and foremost, I love your OC. She manages to be arrogant and endearing at the same time.

I like that you took the time to make these first two chapters seem full - by that I mean, when you start reading, you feel as though you've fallen into the story, instead of just observing the events. I want to read more because there feels like there is much, much more to discover and that's rare, even in the regular literary world.

I look forward to reading more of this story (and "Serpent Code"). Thanks for posting!

oh Meleske, you so fiesty. I'm liking this a lot. I enjoy how your protagonist might not be the most likable sort, not 'paragon' in the least, but she finds a spark of compassion in there somewhere, much to her own dismay it seems. That's a fascinating take on the Skyrim tale. Your use of description is very deft, just enough to breathe life into the story without weighing it down.

"Akatosh's arse!" what a brilliant chapter, so exciting and vivid. I need more! God I can hardly type. This again as I have said in the last chapter and all of your other work is masterfully worked and paints a rich canvas in my mind, so stunningly done.

This is brilliantly worked, I have never actually read another Skyrim fiction for fear it would destroy the game for me, but I had confidence in you and your writing and it's clear it was well placed, you truly brought the whole world to life for me. I could almost feel the heat from the woman's skirt, the rage of Meleske as magic coursed through her veins.

Amazingly written, you captured the characters I grew fond of in the game beautifully, bringing their voices and inflections to mind as I read, this is something I have never been able to do. I need my bee to teach me XD. Amazing hon, so well done.

I really hope you will continue this as there are far to few Skyrim stories with an Altmer as Dragonborn.

I read the first chapter when i had some free time and WOW.
I enjoyed it SO MUCH. A love your character and I adore the way you presented the characters i know so well from the game.
Actually i'm a little jelous of you...he. You read up on the history of Elder Scrolls when I haven't! (I know my next project!lol)
Anyways i really enjoyed your first chapter and I thuroughly enjoyed the descriptions and flowing dialouge. I a woman who loves my detail! (But not to much)
I hope my Elder Scrolls story can turn at as well as yours has!
