I favorited this a while ago and while rereading it, it really tugs at the heartstrings. Especially since the end of Season 2 where Wally doesn't make it back. Oh gosh, so many feels!

I just... I just can't even. I recognized the poem Robin was reciting by the second line. It's one of my favorites. And I got chills as I heard EVERY line after that too. And the way you just put Robin acting ok when you know it's not and only Wally would know that. That line about Robin's facade cracking broke me. And the last line made me feel like I should be crying right now. This story is definitely enough in my book.

. . . . . It's horrifically true. They're expected to fight, no matter what. That has got to suck. Royally.

Oh, gosh. This is really nicely written and a great idea. I wouldn't have thought to connect that poem with superheroes, but it makes sense. Great job!

That's a nice little drabble and aftershot to the events of failsaife. I enjoyed how you wrote Dick and Wally's friendship and I'm glad you wrote this because I would have liked to have seen a little interaction between the two after they were 'killed' together.
