Yay! Something set in Canada! Doesn’t happen very often but it’s a treat to read something from home :) This was hilarious! The kid dressed as the periodic table and Sherlock dumping in the rest of the candy was priceless!

I absolutely love this story. I have re-read it every year around Halloween since you first wrote it. Today it hit me that maybe I should tell you about this! I love your light touch and sense of humor. This story is brilliant!

Actually, that is a clever idea for a costume. When I trick-or-treated, I always tried to make an interesting costume; anyone else understanding it was just an added bonus.

What a sweet little one-shot! I love the idea of John and Sherlock trying to blend in with the locals in a foreign country-would you ever consider writing an extension of this? I feel like that would make a great full-length fic!

Once again, I love the way you've written Sherlock's interactions with children. He was appropriately annoyed and it made for an interesting read, but I couldn't help but grin whenever he approved of a kid's costume (the dinosaur, the table of elements-very clever, by the way!). But I especially loved John's attitude towards the kids. I always sensed that he would be good with children, and his trying to flirt with the single mom was cute. The locals' assumptions about he and Sherlock being a couple were very funny and consistent with the show.

Overall, you did a great job on this, as always. I apologize for spamming your stories with reviews, but you're really a very good writer and I can't help but express how much I love your stories. You're quickly becoming one of my favorite Sherlock writers! :)

PS- I LOVED the Doctor Who reference. It certainly made me smile!

Haha I love Sherlock trying to disable the doorbell, guessing everyone's costumes and giving all the sweets to the 'one clever costume' :D So typical Sherlock :D And I love 'he's in costume as a detective' :D
