This is a great first chapter. I guess it’s been too long since it was posted to hope for a continuation, but i’d love to see the rest of this story. We need more Wez/GY, and i’d like to see if Daimen ever made it to the Indian Ocean. You capture his family’s post-apocalyptic life very well.

To tell you the truth, it's been so long since I saw the movie that I'd forgotten The Golden Youth completely. I stumbled across a picture of him and Wez looking for cool pictures of mohawks! Then I read a bit about him, it just seemed so sad. Of course, he wasn't the only one to die an untimely death, but something about him, even when alive, seemed tragic. Was he brainwashed? Was he happy but just didn't, or couldn't, show it? Or was he miserable with his lot in life? Was he truly in love, if you go down that path? So many questions...

I liked the line about being the only one of the gang not deserving of Hell.

I always look at 'minor' characters more than the big names, because they leave such room to build a story around. This is a very good story, and I hope one day you will be able to finish it.

I hope that this story will continue! It's good!
